Join WI-BPDD’s Living Well Wednesday for COVID-19 Vaccine Info

The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities Living Well Team will share updated information about the COVID-19 vaccine and who is eligible to get the vaccine on February 24th at 11 am. They will be joined by Marcia Stickel, a retired nurse working as a member on the State Medical Disaster Committee, who will offer additional information about receiving the vaccine and how to continue to keep yourself safe until it is your turn to get the vaccine. Mitch Hagopian, an attorney from Disability Rights Wisconsin, will also join to talk about his work on the vaccine subcommittee and any new developments on when people with disabilities and their caregivers might be eligible to receive the vaccine. We will also be joined by self-advocates who have received the vaccine to hear from them about their experience signing up for and getting the vaccine.
