New Alzheimer’s Treatment Approved by the FDA

On Monday, June 7th, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) historically approved the use of a new treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. The use of this treatment, Aducanumab, has the potential to slow down the progression of the disease rather than just targeting Alzheimer’s-related symptoms.

While this is not a cure and the fight to end Alzheimer’s is far from over, this is an amazing advancement and accomplishment! You can read more here and here.
