Provider Electronic Visit Verification Update: Hard Launch and Online Forum

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) released a new ForwardHealth Update for electronic visit verification (EVV). This Update announces the EVV hard launch date and policy: ForwardHealth Update 2021-23, “Electronic Visit Verification Policy and Hard Launch Timeline.”

Forum: Thursday, August 26, from 1:30–3:30 p.m.

DHS invites providers to attend the next EVV forum on Thursday, August 26, from 1:30–3:30 p.m. DHS will provide information regarding EVV policy, including details about the January 1, 2022, hard launch date and preparations. There will be a question and answer session during the forum. Attendees will be invited to submit questions and comments in the Zoom Q&A feature.

The Zoom webinar link will be available on the DHS EVV website and the EVV Forums webpage one week before the event. The link will go live approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the presentation. Pre-registration is not necessary.

Closed-captioning and American Sign Language interpretation will be provided during the forum. Please email your request for other language assistance by Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
