RE: Effective July 1, 2022 – Provider Portal Change Notice  

Dear Valued Provider, 

My Choice Wisconsin is writing regarding an upcoming change to the provider portal for Partnership members receiving Long-Term Care services.  In continued forward progress of the merge of Legacy Care Wisconsin and Legacy My Choice Family Care, effective July 1, 2022, Partnership program members will now have authorizations and portal management out of MIDAS for Long-Term Care services, the same platform currently utilized for Family Care members.  

What You Need to Know: 

• Effective July 1, 2022, all Partnership members will be Case Managed within MIDAS for Long-Term Care services 
• Effective July 1, 2022, providers will be able to view and print authorizations for Partnership members within MIDAS for Long-Term Care services 
• Effective July 1, 2022, providers will be able to bill for Partnership members within MIDAS for Long-Term Care services 
• If you already have an open/effective authorization in place for Partnership members receiving Long-Term Care services the authorizations are in the process of being entered into MIDAS by July 1, 2022  

• Acute and Primary Services for Partnership members are authorized through the Utilization Review team. There are no changes occurring for these services/authorizations at this time. 

What You Need to Do: 

• If you do not have a username or password for MIDAS, contact your contracting specialist directly or email dlfamccontracts@mychoicefamilycare.com 
• If you already have an open/effective authorization for Partnership members for Long-Term Care services, please check the MIDAS portal after July 1, 2022, for the member’s authorization before submitting your claim for services 
• If you are unable to locate the member’s authorization, please reach out to the member’s Care Team for assistance 

• Continue to work directly with Care Management staff to request a new authorization for Long-Term Care services.
